i-Wonder’s cycle insurance comparison service has completed its second full live month on Gocompare and InsureMyStuff4Less. It is the third product to be launched by the comparison software specialist since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic following Gap and SORN, which went live May and August respectively.
Customers can get quotes for any type of bicycle, including electric and choose from various cover options to filter quotes to their needs.
Alex Williams, Managing Director, said “We’re delighted to bring another new product to market and expand our portfolio during these difficult times. Cycling is becoming an increasingly popular method of transport and exercise, particularly since lockdown, and we’re hoping to capitalise on this increasing demand.
“Traffic and quote volume has been good so far, even as we enter winter. But we believe we can be even more competitive with more insurers on the panel. We’re actively recruiting more partners and expect several more to go live very soon. We’re also keen to launch on more sites, aside from Gocompare and our in-house comparison website, InsureMyStuff4Less.
“Price comparison websites are coming under increasing scrutiny from regulatory bodies, so we’ve worked hard to ensure the site is the most comprehensive in the market asking the broadest question set and only returning products that meet all the needs of the customer. This is particularly important in a product like cycle, where there are a variety of different cover options and add-ons offered by various providers.
“We believe there are still plenty of new opportunities for price comparison, both in new and existing markets and we hope to launch further new products towards the end of this year and early into 2021.”
