Fresh Insurance selects Quote Portal for Taxi and Road Risks

i-Wonder has been selected by Fresh Insurance, to supply a new software solution to reduce the time it takes to generate a competitive road risks quote.

The Quote Portal has been designed for insurance broking businesses that rely on rates obtained from multiple insurer and wholesaler extranets along with guide products, improving efficiency by eliminating rekeying completely.

Andrew Tatton, Director at Fresh Insurance said, ‘Fresh were seeking a technology solution to help grow our relatively new Road Risks division. We knew we could generate the enquiries, but having to rekey the risk into multiple extranets and consult a number of rating guides before being able to give the prospect a competitive rate made the process very time consuming and additionally increased the new staff training requirement.

‘We needed a solution that would integrate with our OpenGI back office and, knowing that i-Wonder was experienced with B2C aggregation of more specialised risks, worked with all the major software houses and had already delivered their Quote Portal for Taxi risks we approached them for a solution. We were pleased with the partnership approach taken by i-Wonder during the delivery phase of the project and, having gone live in January of this year are very pleased with the results.’

‘Our Road Risks team can handle substantially more enquires per head and conversions have increased significantly. We are looking forward to continuing to work with i-Wonder to maximise the benefits the Quote Portal can bring our business.’

Steve Young, Chief Executive, i-Wonder, said, ‘We are delighted to be working with Fresh Insurance on this exciting new project. Fresh is using the Quote Portal to operate more efficiently, save time and effort, and win more business. Our ability to role the Quote Portal out to multiple lines of business is testament to the flexibility of the software and we are always looking for new applications.’

‘We look forward to working with Fresh Insurance closely over the coming months and years.’
