New appointments at i-Wonder

Linking Hands Together

With effect May 1st, 2018, Ray Vincent, former head of Transactor Global Solutions Limited (TGSL) takes on the role of Chief Executive Officer at i-Wonder Group. Steve Young, former CEO, takes the position of Chairman.

Vincent explained, ‘Since its foundation in 2008, Steve has done a great job in establishing the business and has achieved impressive growth throughout its early years. After a short break following the sale of TGSL to Open GI, I am ready for a challenge, and I am looking forward to steering the development of the i-Wonder business over the next phase of the businesses evolution as CEO. We retain Steve’s valuable expertise going forward as he moves into my former role as Chairman, so this change will be seamless for clients and trading partners.’

i-Wonder has recently completed a relocation to newly refurbished offices in Micheldever, Hampshire. New recruitment is well underway, starting with the appointments of Dominic Yeomans as Marketing Manager and Janine Mercer as Finance Manager in April. Alex Williams is also set to join the business as Sales Director with effect June 1st.

Vincent continues, ‘Our main focus is to continue to develop the partnership business with the UK’s big-four aggregators. Using our “Insure My Stuff for Less” brand, we also want to accelerate the development of niche aggregation, bringing innovative new solutions to market quicker. We are considering a whole range of personal and commercial covers which are ripe for introduction into the aggregation market. Using agile technology, our proven configuration tools, and digital marketing expertise, we believe we can introduce even relatively obscure covers into aggregation quickly, and make them commercially viable for our clients and partners. Plus, our ability to introduce new business classes quickly at low cost and bring them to the right audience should give us virtually instant traction. I am looking forward to bringing a bit of positive disruption into the market.’
