‘A-Plan identified that removing the need to rekey risks multiple times was key to its Road Risks growth plans for 2016 and beyond. We selected i-Wonder because they were the only potential software partner to meet our criteria; their Portal is already live at a number of other sites, has a very large panel of supporting insurers across multiple product lines and is fully integrated with our back office system (SSP). Furthermore, because i-Wonder is an independent company and each Portal installation has its own a separate database we knew our risk and pricing information would always be secure.’

As a nationwide high-street broker, A-Plan Insurance receives a large and growing volume of taxi insurance enquiries over the counter, with all taxi business referred to a single office. During 2015 the volume of enquiries started to exceed the resource available to handle it, because of the time required to generate a “whole market” quote. As a result, A-Plan had to either increase staffing levels or make greater use of technology.
